AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.

 

TRIUNE GOD

We believe that there is only one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are equal in power and authority.

GOD THE FATHER

We believe in God, the Father almighty who created the heavens and earth.

 

JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AS SAVIOUR

We believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God was fully God and fully man. We believe in His deity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

 

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person of the Godhead, is divine, at work today, and that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enables and empowers the Christian to live a life of godliness and effective service.

 

MANKIND

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that all following Adam have sinned and are sinful; that repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary for salvation.

 

SANCTIFICATION

We believe that all followers of Jesus Christ are called to sanctification through identification with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection, and that the process of sanctification results in greater Christ-likeness. 

 

THE CHURCH

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ; and that the role of the church is to fulfill the creation mandate given in Genesis 1, and the great commission given in Matthew 28.
